The company ‘kWp 1’ has initiated a significant investment of 14 million euros for the development of two hybrid solar and battery parks located in the Ogres and Limbaži municipalities. The combined energy storage capacity of these projects amounts to 42 megawatt-hours (MWh), positioning them as some of the largest energy initiatives currently underway in Latvia. These facilities are designed to enhance energy supply to the local areas, ensuring that homes and businesses can access electricity for approximately 12 to 24 hours, depending on usage and storage conditions.
