The state government of Pernambuco, Brazil, has launched a selection process to fill 387 job vacancies at the Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE) hospital complex. This initiative aims to enhance the healthcare workforce in the region, with salaries that can reach as high as R$ 12,366, reflecting the nature of the roles available.

Applications for the positions will be accepted online from March 9 to April 5, giving potential candidates a specific window to apply. The selection process will primarily be based on a curriculum analysis, ensuring that qualified candidates are chosen effectively. To apply, there is also a fee of R$ 80, a common requirement for government job applications in Brazil.

The contracts for successful applicants will initially be for a duration of 12 months, though they are renewable up to a maximum of six years.
