In late February and early March, approximately 3,500 soldiers from the Finnish Defense Forces and the United States will participate in local defense exercises throughout Finland. These exercises will involve various authorities including police, customs, fire and rescue services, and border guards, as well as organizations such as the National Emergency Supply Agency and regional municipalities. Movement of troops and equipment is expected in cities around the training areas during weeks 9 and 10.
