The redevelopment of Via Marina in Milan has begun, aiming to restore the tree-lined walkway and nearby green areas damaged by the severe storm of 2023. However, the project has faced criticism for the removal of around fifty parking spaces, a decision made without proper notification to the local municipality or residents. Pietro Meda, president of the Automobile Club Milano, expressed his frustrations regarding the project's execution. He highlighted that despite repeated attempts to engage with the municipality about the parking issues, there had been no response from local officials.
