The Lithuanian Environmental Protection Agency has created an interactive tool that includes maps showing the likelihood of flooding due to snowmelt and rainfall in various coastal areas. This project, which has been ongoing since 2020, compiled data from the public and relevant institutions regarding changes in terrain in flood-prone areas, alongside recent research and climate change trends. This comprehensive analysis provides critical information on potential flood risks.

The updated flood threat maps are valuable not only for residents but also for businesses, helping them to prepare for possible environmental contamination resulting from flooding.
