At the end of January, Estonia hosted a winter birdwatching event that brought together 3,042 bird enthusiasts from 1,839 locations across the country. Over three days of observation, participants counted a total of 57,162 birds from 65 different species, showcasing the diversity of avian life in Estonian gardens during the winter months.
The event not only served as an engaging community activity but also had a notable positive impact on the mental health of those involved.
