Despite this, many believe that self-directed learning can be far more effective than traditional tutoring methods. The story follows Park Ji-min, a 19-year-old student from Gwangmyeong Buk High School, who succeeded in gaining admission to the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Yonsei University for the 2026 academic year without attending any tutoring sessions. He attributes his success to a study method that emphasizes deep understanding and problem-solving over typical cram sessions, utilizing a specialized app called 'Gichul Tab Tab'.
