In Ramadan Nights.. Settlers Burn Homes and Vehicles of Palestinians in Hebron

Israeli settlers intensified their attacks in the occupied West Bank during Ramadan, setting fire to homes and vehicles belonging to Palestinians in the village of Susiya, south of Hebron, leading to injuries among residents.

During the month of Ramadan, tensions escalated in the occupied West Bank as Israeli settlers launched increased attacks, notably on the evening of Tuesday when they set ablaze several Palestinian homes and vehicles in the village of Susiya, south of Hebron. This prompted significant injuries among local residents amid broad assaults aimed at livestock herders and confrontations in Nablus.

Reports from the human rights organization "Baider" indicated that settlers attacked the village, destroying five homes and several vehicles belonging to Palestinian citizens. This assault resulted in substantial material damage and instilled fear among the local populace, especially among vulnerable groups like women and children. Eyewitnesses and local sources highlighted the violence's impact, describing scenes of chaos as families fled their burning homes.

Additionally, it was reported that settlers used tear gas canisters during the attack, causing four Palestinians to suffer from gas inhalation. The Palestinian news agency WAFA and local media circulated distressing footage captured by surveillance cameras that documented the settlers' incursion and the subsequent arson. In contrast, Israeli broadcasting authorities shared matching footage showcasing masked assailants in the vicinity, underscoring the volatile state of affairs during this sensitive period.
