Nissan has announced that it has started production of the new Nissan Versa in Mexico, which will continue to be exported to Brazil, where it has been available since 2020. The exact launch date in Brazil has not been confirmed yet, but the latest model is expected to arrive by 2026. Significant changes to the car's aesthetics have been introduced, including a shift away from larger headlights to a more sculpted appearance, aligning the Versa's design with that of the Nissan Kicks.

The exterior updates also include a revamped rear end where the taillights are now connected by a shiny black element, a trend seen in several recent vehicle launches. Although specific interior images have not yet been released, the announcement focuses primarily on the visual enhancements rather than mechanical changes. The mechanical specifications, such as the 1.6-litre flex engine that produces 113 hp and 15.2 kgfm of torque on ethanol fuel, are expected to remain the same, along with the automatic CVT transmission.
