Sicoob strengthens education and inaugurates Teaching Center in Vila Princesa in Porto Velho

Sicoob has inaugurated a new Teaching Center in Vila Princesa, Porto Velho, aimed at improving educational and social opportunities for the local community.

The Vila Princesa neighborhood in Porto Velho, RondΓ΄nia, has seen the inauguration of the Citizenship and Sustainability Teaching Center, marking a significant advancement in social and educational initiatives in the region. This project, backed by a total investment of R$ 221,940.02 from Sicoob Central Norte and several affiliated institutions, aims to create a structured environment that fosters community development and empowerment.

The Teaching Center is designed to accommodate approximately 100 individuals per month, including children, adolescents, and adults, offering a variety of programs focused on educational reinforcement, socio-emotional development, cooperativism, entrepreneurship, financial education, and professional qualification. In addition to educational activities, the center will also provide legal assistance, psychological services, and basic health guidance, thus addressing multiple facets of personal and community well-being.

Altair Schramm, the president of Sicoob Central Norte, emphasized the importance of this initiative for the local population, seeing it as a crucial step towards enhancing citizenship and sustainability through education.
