Canada has officially announced a substantial military assistance package amounting to CA$2 billion, which is approximately US$1.4 billion, intended to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities amid ongoing conflict. The announcement was made by the Canadian government and includes donations of over 400 armored vehicles, specifically featuring 66 General Dynamics LAV 6 vehicles and 383 Senator armored vehicles manufactured by Roshel, which will enhance the operational effectiveness of Ukrainian armed forces.

In addition to military aid, Canada has implemented new sanctions against Russia focusing on measures targeting the so-called 'shadow fleet' and lowering the price cap on Russian oil. These sanctions represent Canada's continued commitment to support Ukraine in its conflict against Russian aggression.
