In Bhopal, a 21-year-old beautician from Chhattisgarh has alleged that she was drugged and sexually assaulted at different locations, with additional pressure placed upon her to convert to another religion. Authorities have initiated a case against three men for rape and one woman for coercing religious conversion, with one suspect already apprehended while three others remain at large. The Aaj Tak team visited the flat of the accused sisters, Aafreen and Amreen, located in the upscale Sagar Royal Vilas colony on Hoshangabad Road. Neighbors reported suspicious activities associated with the sisters, claiming that men frequently visited their flat at night. They also noted that many women, clad in burqas, were seen entering the flat while the sisters usually appeared in jeans, raising further suspicion among local residents. These claims picture a troubling scenario where such gatherings might facilitate illicit activities.

Furthermore, the victim, who spoke out, recounted events from August 2025, detailing how she was coaxed into attending a residence by a close associate of the accused woman.
