Harsh survey result: Trump has become unpredictable

A recent survey reveals that a significant majority of Americans believe Donald Trump's behavior has become unpredictable as he ages.

A new survey conducted by Reuters and Ipsos indicates that 60% of Americans feel that President Donald Trump's behavior has become unpredictable with age. Among the respondents, about 89% of Democrats expressed this view, while 30% of Republicans agreed, alongside 64% of Independents. This perception highlights a deepening concern among the public regarding Trump's reliability as a leader, particularly as he continues to campaign for re-election.

Despite concerns about his unpredictability, Trump's overall popularity seems to have remained stable, with around 40% of respondents rating his performance as president positively. This figure marks a slight increase of about two percentage points from the previous survey, remaining consistent since April. Such data suggest that while voters might be concerned about Trump's age and associated unpredictability, they still recognize and support some aspects of his presidency.

Further questions in the survey explored sentiments regarding the age of U.S. lawmakers, revealing that approximately 79% of respondents believe that the current leaders are too old to effectively govern. This sentiment reflects a broader issue in American politics, where age and generational gaps are becoming more pronounced, potentially influencing future elections and the composition of leadership in the country.
