On Tuesday morning (24), two fatal accidents occurred on the BR-101 highway in the Greater Recife area, leading to the deaths of two men. The incidents took place in different sections of the highway, one in Jaboatão dos Guararapes and the other in the Guabiraba neighborhood of northern Recife. The names of the victims have not been disclosed to the public. In addition to these fatalities, a third non-fatal collision in the Ibura neighborhood of southern Recife contributed to severe traffic jams on both directions of BR-101, although the extent of the congestion has not been specified by the Federal Highway Police (PRF).
