Latvia's commitment to military support for Ukraine between 2022 and 2025 has reached approximately 665 million euros, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Defence's Press Department. Key components of this support are equipment currently held by the National Armed Forces, training for Ukrainian soldiers, and the procurement of capabilities and equipment from Latvia's military industry. Notably, Latvia had initiated its military support even before Russia's full-scale invasion began; the donation of Stinger air defense systems is highlighted as a crucial move that helped limit Russian airborne assaults at the onset of the conflict in 2022.
