Teresinha Schevani, 91, was admitted with a diagnosis of bronchopneumonia and a deterioration in health. Her husband, Adorval Schevani, 96, demonstrated remarkable devotion by fasting in prayer for her recovery, highlighting the strength of their long-standing relationship.

However, Adorval also faced health challenges and required medical attention, resulting in his own hospitalization. Due to hospital protocols, the couple was initially separated into different wards, but the caring staff rearranged the accommodations so that their rooms faced each other. This thoughtful gesture allowed the couple to continue seeing each other daily, reinforcing their bond, even in a time of distress.
