On the 24th, a training exercise simulating a scenario where a man with a knife creates havoc at boarding gates was conducted at Itami Airport. Approximately 40 participants, including members from the Hyogo and Osaka police departments, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Kansai Airport, and private security companies, took part in the training. This exercise was held with the aim of enhancing coordination among relevant organizations in preparation for the upcoming Osaka-Kansai Expo, marking its second occurrence since its initiation last year.
