The Croatian Prime Minister, Andrej Plenković, has made his way to Kyiv, joining several other heads of state and government as well as the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission for a significant event marking four years since the beginning of the second Russian aggression against Ukraine. This visit reinforces the European Union's commitment to supporting Ukraine amid ongoing conflicts.

During his visit, Prime Minister Plenković is expected to meet with high-ranking officials from Ukraine, including President Volodymyr Zelensky, Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk. The meeting will also involve discussions at the Coalition of Willing, showcasing an organized effort by various European leaders to unify their stance on continued support for Ukraine during these turbulent times. The Croatian delegation includes key figures such as the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, and other notable representatives from the Croatian government.

Plenković's visit marks his fifth trip to Ukraine since February 2022, signaling Croatia's ongoing solidarity with the Ukrainian people. As the war continues, resulting in hundreds of thousands killed and millions displaced, this high-level engagement reflects a commitment to uphold fundamental European values and pursue potential pathways for resolution in a deeply challenging geopolitical landscape.
