A ceremonial welcome for Olympic medalist Robert Krūzbergs will take place in Riga and Ventspils as part of the Latvian Olympic Committee's celebration of participants from the Milan-Cortina XXV Winter Olympic Games.
On Tuesday, a ceremonial arrival for participants in the Milan-Cortina XXV Winter Olympics is set to occur at Riga Airport, with focus on bronze medalist short-tracker Robert Krūzbergs, as reported by the Latvian Olympic Committee. Latvian Olympians will be greeted by media, family members, and representatives from the Ventspils municipality after their arrival, which is scheduled for after 6 PM.
In addition to Krūzbergs, fellow Ventspilian athletes Kārlis Krūzbergs and Jēkabs Kalenda will also return, alongside coaches and support staff. Following their arrival in Riga, the athletes will partake in a ceremonial journey to Ventspils' concert hall
