Initially, she wished to return to Ukraine immediately after arriving in Sweden, but now considers Forsbacka her second home, thanks to job opportunities and a sense of security. Her husband remains in Ukraine, unable to leave due to restrictions placed on men aged 18-60, which adds emotional strain to her new life abroad. She reflects on the adjustment period and how her perspective has shifted from wanting to return to embracing a future in Sweden, where she feels safe and hopeful.
