Upon arriving at the scene, police began their investigation immediately.
According to the police reports, the informant named Ritesh noticed a scooter with registration number UP14 DM 6113 on the side of the road, which still had its lights on. Suspecting something unusual, he looked around and discovered a man lying unconscious in the nearby drain. With assistance from passersby, they managed to pull the man out and rushed him to MMG Hospital. However, upon arrival, the doctors declared him dead, leading to questions surrounding the circumstances of his fall.
