Samsung will incorporate Perplexity AI into its upcoming flagship Galaxy devices

Samsung is set to integrate Perplexity AI into its forthcoming Galaxy flagship devices, enhancing apps like Notes and Gallery.

Samsung has officially announced that it will include Perplexity's artificial intelligence in its upcoming flagship Galaxy devices, aligning with its aim to create a multi-agent ecosystem with Galaxy AI. This integration will enhance user experience across various apps, including Notas (Notes), Reloj (Clock), Galería (Gallery), Recordatorios (Reminders), and Calendario (Calendar), as well as in select third-party applications. This development comes ahead of the much-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for February 25, where the new Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be unveiled.

This integration reinforces earlier reports from June of the previous year, which had indicated Samsung's intention to incorporate Perplexity's AI capabilities into its smartphone series. According to Samsung's internal analysis, a significant majority—approximately 80%—of users engage with multiple types of AI agents to complete their tasks. Recognizing this trend, Samsung aims to enhance the Galaxy AI ecosystem, ensuring that users benefit from a more cohesive and supportive technological environment that meets their multitasking needs.

The move signifies not only Samsung's commitment to innovation in AI technology but also its responsiveness to user demands for more integrated and efficient tools. As the competitive landscape of smartphone innovation continues to evolve, Samsung's decision to weave Perplexity AI into the Galaxy devices could set a new standard for smart technology functionality, catering to modern users who depend on seamless AI support across their devices.
