'Rio to Dream': campaign invites the sharing of videos featuring beloved places in the city; find out how to participate
In celebration of Rio de Janeiro's anniversary, a campaign invites locals to share videos showcasing their cherished places in the city.
In anticipation of Rio de Janeiro's anniversary, set for March 1, the Globo Rio network has launched the 'Rio Para Sonhar' campaign. This initiative encourages residents of Rio de Janeiro to submit videos capturing their beloved spaces in the city—whether they are part of daily life or hold significant memories. The selected entries will be showcased on Globo Comunidade during the anniversary weekend, as well as across the following week's broadcast segments, including Bom Dia Rio and RJ1.
Participants can engage in the campaign by creating a video no longer than one minute featuring their favorite place in Rio. The submission process is user-friendly, offering two main options: individuals can either post their video on social media with the hashtag #RioParaSonhar or send it directly through a designated link available via the QR code presented in the Globo telecasts. Those without a Globo.com account can easily create a free account to facilitate their submission.
This campaign not only celebrates the rich cultural fabric of Rio de Janeiro but also fosters community engagement by highlighting personal connections to the city's landmarks. By inviting citizens to actively participate in this celebratory initiative, the campaign seeks to strengthen the bond between residents and their city while showcasing the diverse beauty of Rio to a broader audience through various Globo broadcasts.
