The Estonian men's football team will participate in the FIFA Series tournament in Rwanda, starting with a match against Kenya.

The Estonian men's football team is set to compete in the upcoming FIFA Series tournament in Rwanda, which commences on March 27. They will play their opening match against Kenya at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali at 18:00 local time. This tournament also includes teams from Rwanda and Grenada, with matches scheduled to provide a series of competitive encounters among the four nations.

The tournament will take place at Amahoro Stadium, which can accommodate over 45,000 spectators, having been built in 1986 and recently renovated in 2024. The Estonian team will participate in one of two tournaments held in Rwanda, and this particular tournament continues from the successful pilot project that took place in 2024. On the same day as the Estonian-Kenya match, Rwanda will face Grenada in a second semi-final match later in the evening.

FIFA Series tournaments not only contribute to the development of football in lesser-exposed areas but also provide teams like Estonia an opportunity to gain experience on the international stage. This format allows the inclusion of multiple countries hosting their own segments of the tournament, promoting global football engagement, with additional tournaments scheduled in various countries including Australia, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia among others. The games promise excitement with a high spectator turnout expected, indicative of football's rising popularity across nations.
