A second young man, Gustavo Henrique, has died following a zip line accident at a wedding celebration in Bonito, Brazil, which took place over the weekend. The incident occurred on Sunday, October 22nd, at a rural estate around 20 kilometers from the city center. Gustavo was transported to Santa Casa in Campo Grande but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. His funeral is being held at the Parish Hall of the Vicentina Matriz Church.

Earlier on the same day, Gustavo had jumped into a pond to rescue his friend Pedro Henrique, also 20, who had already drowned after jumping from the zip line. The zip line was part of the festivities that began Saturday evening and were planned to last through the weekend. Local authorities, including the Military Fire Department, are investigating the circumstances around the incident, which has shocked the community.

The tragic event has raised concerns around safety measures at such social gatherings, particularly regarding the use of recreational equipment like zip lines.
