In Teresina, Brazil, authorities have arrested four members of a criminal faction for their involvement in the torture and burning of 17-year-old Saimon Alexandre Nascimento. The teenager was lured into a trap on April 30, 2025, under the pretense of meeting a friend linked to the faction. Instead of a friendly encounter, he was subjected to what the faction members refer to as a 'crime tribunal' where he was judged, tortured, and ultimately murdered.

Police investigations led by Delegate Danúbio Dias from the Homicide and Person Protection Department revealed disturbing details surrounding the case. Saimon was found with gunshot wounds and evidence of having been partially burned. His body was discovered in the Loteamento Jardins do Angelim neighborhood, where his mother later identified him. The gruesome nature of the crime underscores the violent reality of gang-related activities in the region, raising concerns about public safety and the influence of organized crime.
