In a competitive mechanic skills contest, a young student from Kandava Agricultural Technical School emerged victorious in 2026, showcasing exceptional skill and talent. The second place was taken by Andrians Kalniņš from Riga State Technical School, who finished just five points behind the winner. Daņila Neverovkis from Latgale Industrial Technical School secured the third place, emphasizing that the competition was closely contested as the top three positions were decided by only a few points.

The contest organizer, Armands Umbraško, noted that the results reflected a high level of proficiency among the participants, as recognized by judges and evaluators.
