São Paulo will have heat and showers this Monday (22)

São Paulo will experience sunny patches with scattered showers later in the day and temperatures ranging from 19°C to 27°C.

On Monday, São Paulo is expected to have a mix of sun and clouds with isolated rainfall in the late afternoon. The temperatures are forecasted to fluctuate between 19°C and 27°C, as reported by the CGE (Center for Management of Climatic Emergencies) of the São Paulo city government. Meanwhile, the Vale do Paraíba area remains under alert for intermittent rains that increase the risk of landslides in the eastern region, according to Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology).

In addition, the southern part of Brazil is facing severe weather due to a cold front, which may bring thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds. The Central-West and Northern regions are experiencing heavy rain due to moisture from the Amazon, as indicated by Climatempo. Along the coast, Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo are expected to have heat; however, a change in weather on the coast is anticipated on Monday night due to the approaching cold front.

Looking ahead to Tuesday (24), São Paulo will likely see overcast skies and light rain, with temperatures dropping as the instability shifts towards the Northeast region of Brazil. The expected temperature in the city for Tuesday is projected to range from 20°C to 28°C, indicating a notable shift from the warmer conditions experienced earlier in the week.
