São Paulo is expected to have a warm Wednesday (18) with a chance of isolated rain showers in the afternoon
The metropolitan area of São Paulo is forecasted to experience hot weather on Wednesday, with isolated rain showers expected in the afternoon due to a maritime breeze.
On Wednesday, the metropolitan region of São Paulo will continue to be hot, with temperatures beginning at 19°C and reaching a maximum of 33°C. The day will start with mostly sunny conditions but will heat up as the sun intensifies, increasing the discomfort from the heat. Towards the afternoon, the arrival of a maritime breeze is expected to bring relief, resulting in isolated rain showers with a minimal risk of flooding.
According to the Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências Climáticas (CGE), the rain is anticipated to commence around noon and may last until midnight, albeit in small quantities. While the rain could provide some respite from the heat, it may not significantly alter the weather pattern, which is characterized by high temperatures.
The national meteorological institute, Inmet, noted that the previous day recorded a high of 31.5°C, demonstrating the prevailing warm conditions in the area. These fluctuations in weather underscore the summer characteristics typical of São Paulo, where humidity and sudden rain showers are common during this season.
