Two more members expelled from the political party 'Stabilitātei!'
This month, two Saeima deputies have been expelled from the political party 'Stabilitātei!', reducing its board members significantly ahead of the upcoming elections.
This month, two members have been expelled from the board of the political party 'Stabilitātei!', specifically Saeima deputies Igors Judins and Jefimijs Klementjevs. The information was confirmed by a record in the Political Party Register. Both deputies were elected to the 14th Saeima from the 'Stabilitātei!' list but have since left the party, now operating as independent deputies outside of any factions. Currently, the board of 'Stabilitātei!' comprises five remaining members, including party leader Aleksejs Rosļikovs and several others: Svetlana Čulkova, Ruslans Vereščagins, Nataļja Marčenko-Jodko, and Vjačeslavs Ciganovs. Earlier this year, several deputies, including Dmitrijs Kovoļenko and Iļja Ivanovs, also left the party, which led to the collapse of the party's Saeima faction as it no longer had the minimum required five parliamentarians. Svetlana Čulkova, the faction's chairwoman, stated that 'Stabilitātei!' would continue its parliamentary work as four independent deputies. This situation may challenge the party's influence and presence in parliament, especially ahead of the upcoming elections, as forming a new faction requires at least five members, highlighting the critical need for party cohesion and strategy going forward.
