Witnesses reported panic as bystanders fled the area upon realizing the truck was out of control, highlighting the potential dangers associated with such incidents. The truck was part of a sound equipment service for an event in the Largo do Pelourinho, and the company responsible, รngello Som Entretenimento, explained that the truck experienced brake failure just before the crash occurred.
In response to the accident, the company issued a statement confirming that they have filed a police report regarding the incident and will ensure all necessary legal procedures are followed.
