A recent Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast during the night of February 21-22 has led to significant casualties, with the number of injured rising to 17, including four children. According to Mykola Kalashnyk, the head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, five people are currently hospitalized, with two adults and one child in serious condition, while the remaining casualties are receiving medical treatment for moderate injuries.

The attack has led to widespread damage across several districts in the Kyiv Oblast, notably in Brovary, Obukhiv, Boryspil, Bucha, Fastiv, and Vyshhorod. The districts of Boryspil, Bucha, and Fastiv have experienced the most severe destruction, with over 100 homes reported damaged. These include both single-family houses and apartments in multi-storey buildings, highlighting the extensive impact on local communities during a continuous conflict that has resulted in ongoing humanitarian crises.
