This service is founded by Viktoria Shevchenko, who has Ukrainian roots. The development of Naistaxi began in August 2025, focusing specifically on the needs of women and children, offering a sense of safety and comfort in transportation. Customers can book rides through an app, ensuring that all drivers are female.

Viktoria Shevchenko shared her motivation behind creating Naistaxi, stating that she had interviewed numerous women during the development phase, many of whom expressed feelings of fear related to safety while using traditional taxi services. This led her to realize the need for a taxi service designed explicitly for women, highlighting that safety concerns are a common experience among women. The establishment of Naistaxi aims to empower women by addressing these safety issues directly.

Additionally, Shevchenko consulted experts on gender equality laws, who confirmed that gender-based safety services are permitted when intended to protect vulnerable individuals. Given that statistics show women face greater risks than men in certain situations, services like Naistaxi can be instrumental in creating safer transport options. This initiative reflects a broader social awareness of gender-related safety issues and the need for specialized services to support those at risk.
