Two fatalities have been reported following the capsizing of a vessel in Ubatuba, located on the northern coast of São Paulo. The incident occurred in the Ponta Grossa area amid intense rain and strong winds on Saturday night. Local authorities, including the Maritime Fire Brigade and the Civil Defense of São Paulo, responded to the situation, revealing that five people were aboard the vessel at the time of the accident. Three of the five were rescued by occupants of a nearby boat, while the identities of the deceased remain undisclosed.

Emergency responders, including the Samu, facilitated the rescue operations, transporting the survivors to the Itaguá dock. The local fire department noted that the vessel was already in a perilous situation before capsizing, highlighting the dangers posed by the unpredictable weather conditions.
