A house in Papilvio village was completely destroyed by fire, resulting in the owner suffering burns and the loss of four kittens inside.
In the small village of Papilvio, located in the Prienai region of Lithuania, a devastating house fire was reported at 7:51 AM, prompting firefighters to rush to the scene. Upon arrival, the house was engulfed in flames, and the wooden structure was in close proximity to a wooden trailer. The dimensions of the entire building were approximately 11x10 meters, and it was a framework covered with slate.
The fire resulted in the total loss of the house and all belongings within it, as firefighters struggled to contain the blaze. Water for extinguishing the fire was sourced from an artificial water reservoir located 500 meters away from the site, indicating the challenge firefighters faced in quickly accessing adequate resources to combat the flames.
Tragically, the owner of the house suffered minor burns to his hair and arm and received medical attention. Additionally, it was reported that four kittens inside the home did not survive the incident, emphasizing the tragic consequences of the fire beyond property loss.
