A project to promote the Brazilian music genre arrocha internationally has been launched, involving artists like Yasmin Sensação and Natanzinho Lima.
Brazilian artists Yasmin Sensação, Natanzinho Lima, Heitor Costa, and Devinho Novaes are set to take arrocha, a popular music genre from Sergipe, to the international stage. The announcement was made by their manager, Alessandro Lanuce, on Saturday, confirming a collaboration with a French art development company, which was formalized at an event on the evening of Thursday, September 19. This initiative aims to showcase the talent of Sergipe's artists beyond Brazil's borders.
The internationalization of arrocha is designed not only to promote these artists but also to expand the genre's reach to countries such as Portugal and Angola through digital streaming platforms. The initial strategy includes a series of digital streams that will allow fans from these nations to access and appreciate arrocha music. Furthermore, this project opens up opportunities for additional artists to record in Aracaju, thus broadening the impact of the initiative within the local music scene.
Alessandro Lanuce expressed optimism about the project's potential, highlighting that the monetization of digital streams is expected to generate income and positively affect the economy of Sergipe. By gaining a foothold in the music world, these artists aim to position themselves on a global scale, which could lead to increased exposure and financial benefits, reinforcing the cultural significance and economic impact of regional music genres.
