A serious accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the village of Pandrosos in Komotini, triggering alerts among local authorities. Reports indicate that under currently unclear circumstances, part of the floor in a local restaurant suddenly gave way, resulting in patrons seated at four different tables falling into the void. This unexpected event caused significant disturbance in the establishment, necessitating immediate intervention by emergency services.
Emergency services, including firefighters and ambulances from the local emergency medical service, arrived promptly at the scene to handle the incident. A total of eight individuals were transported to the General Hospital of Komotini for medical evaluation. Among them, two are still hospitalized for precautionary reasons, while the other six received treatment and were discharged following first aid. Fortunately, all individuals' health conditions are reported to be stable, alleviating initial concerns about the severity of their injuries.
