The Korean 4-man bobsleigh team led by pilot Kim Jin-soo ranked 8th in the first two rounds at the 2026 Winter Olympics qualifying event.
The Kim Jin-soo team, comprised of pilot Kim Jin-soo, pushmen Kim Hyung-keun and Kim Seon-wook, and brakeman Lee Geon-woo, competed in the men's 4-man bobsleigh event at the Cortina Sliding Center in Italy. They secured an overall time of 1:49.50, placing them 8th among 27 teams in the first two rounds of the competition. They currently trail behind the leading team from Germany, Steven Holcombβs team, by 0.89 seconds and are just 0.30 seconds behind the third-placed German team led by Adam Amour.
Another participating team, led by pilot Seok Young-jin, finished 23rd with a time of 1:50.73. The final placements will be determined after the conclusion of rounds 3 and 4, which are scheduled to take place tomorrow afternoon.
