Carnaboi 2026, a popular festival in Manaus, is set to showcase more than 40 performances this Saturday, June 21, at the Sambódromo, with free entry for attendees. The event, which celebrates the cultural heritage of the region, will be broadcast live by Rede Amazônica and g1, making it accessible to a wider audience. This year's celebration marks its 25th edition, and organizers expect attendance to exceed 27,000 people, surpassing the figures from the previous year.
The event is part of the Carnaval Amazônico initiative conducted by the Fundação Rede Amazônica, aiming to promote local culture and festivities. For the third consecutive year, Carnaboi seeks to not only entertain but also highlight the rich traditions associated with the competing "bois" (wooden bull representations), Caprichoso and Garantido. Expecting an engaging atmosphere, the show will feature various attractions and activities, ensuring a vibrant cultural experience for both attendees and viewers.
