This festival marks its 25th edition and is expected to attract more participants than the previous year, with over 27,000 attendees anticipated. The event will showcase performances from the competing folklore groups, Caprichoso and Garantido, who are staples in the cultural festivities of the region.

This year, the Carnaboi festival will feature over 40 attractions, making it one of the largest folklore celebrations in the Amazon region. The event is part of the Amazon Carnival project, managed by the Fundação Rede Amazônica, and aims to promote the cultural heritage of the region through lively performances and community involvement.
