Rescue operation off Vadsø: Boat with three people about to sink

Authorities were on high alert, particularly due to challenging weather conditions which raised concerns about the timely arrival of an air ambulance helicopter that had been summoned to assist. The helicopter provided aerial observation of the vessel and directed a civilian rigid inflatable boat (RIB) towards the distressed boat to aid in the rescue process.
