The Oyo State Government has taken significant action against Ar-Rahmon Khabul Herbal Nigeria Limited by sealing the facility, due to confirmed environmental violations that have raised public health concerns in Ibadan. The enforcement action was executed by the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, emphasizing the government's commitment to uphold environmental standards.

The decision to seal the herbal firm followed numerous petitions from local residents who reported a persistent offensive odour emanating from the company's operations, which they linked to various health challenges. The Chairperson of OYRLEA, Justice Aderonke Aderemi (retd), highlighted that this action was crucial for protecting public health and ensuring the company adheres to environmental regulations, thereby preserving the quality of life for the community.
