Accident involves two buses, a train, and an ambulance on the avenue of Natal

A collision involving two buses, a train, and an ambulance in Natal resulted in at least six people sustaining minor injuries.

In Natal, Brazil, a significant traffic accident occurred involving two buses, a train, and an ambulance on the Nevaldo Rocha avenue on Friday morning. Witnesses reported that a bus from line 79 was stuck on the railroad tracks when passengers noticed the approaching train. They alerted the driver to move the bus off the tracks, but it was obstructed by another bus from line 7 and an ambulance, both stopped at a traffic light ahead of it.

As the train approached, the driver of bus line 79 honked to signal the vehicles to move, but it seems the ambulance driver did not understand the signal. In an effort to avoid a collision with the train, the driver of bus 79 advanced into the intersection, colliding with bus line 7, which in turn struck the ambulance. The initial accident was exacerbated by the train which ultimately hit the rear of bus 79.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and while the incident was severe, reports indicated that only minor injuries were recorded among at least six individuals involved. The sequence of events highlights potential issues with traffic signal communication and the dangers of obstructions near railroad crossings, prompting further investigation by local authorities regarding road safety protocols.
