A court in Brazil has decreed the preventive detention of a 27-year-old truck driver involved in a tragic accident that claimed the lives of a couple and severely injured their young daughter in Piquerobi, São Paulo. The incident occurred on Sunday, the 15th, and was confirmed by the São Paulo State Court to G1 on Thursday, the 19th. Upon investigation, it was found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, as revealed by a breathalyzer test administered by the police.
