Gonçalo's body arrived around noon and was buried on Thursday morning, while Santana's body arrived in Imperatriz at 8 PM and is currently being mourned at the headquarters of the Association of Laborers and Residents of Vila Conceição II. His funeral is scheduled for Friday morning at 9 AM in a community cemetery, marking a poignant moment for family and friends as they reflect on the lives of the individuals lost in this tragic accident.
The Prefeitura de Imperatriz publicly expressed its condolences for the losses and coordinated with the Marília administration to facilitate the transportation of the bodies back to Maranhão.
