Young Talents of Šiauliai Gained Experience from Swiss Pianist Bernhard Ruchti
Young performers from Šiauliai presented their programs in masterclasses conducted by Swiss pianist Bernhard Ruchti, showcasing their interpretations of classical pieces.
In a series of masterclasses, young talents from Šiauliai presented classical music pieces under the guidance of renowned Swiss pianist Bernhard Ruchti. Students from the Šiaulių Sauliaus Sondeckio Arts Gymnasium, mentored by expert teacher Raimonda Sližienė, explored complex works, including Beethoven's Sonata No. 16, Schumann's Ballade, and pieces by Mozart and Liszt. Each performer showcased their individual skills and emotional depth in interpreting these classical compositions.
Additionally, students from Šiaulių 1st Music School, directed by methodologist Neringa Krikščiūnė, participated in the masterclasses. Notable performances included Debussy's "Little Shepherd," Grieg's "Elegy," and Haydn's Sonata in E Minor, demonstrating a diverse range of classical repertoire. The event highlighted the collaborative spirit of music education and the opportunity for students to engage with advanced interpretations of classical masterpieces.
Participant Povilas Ušinskis expressed gratitude for the initiative, noting the valuable exchange of knowledge and the discussions around musical interpretations, tempos, and personal insights.
