Aivars Hermanis is a highly experienced guitarist from Liepāja, Latvia, with a prolific career that includes participation in more than a thousand recorded songs and concerts. He has composed over a hundred musical pieces and has also taken on various roles such as arranger, producer, concert organizer, educator, and leader of public organizations. Hermanis, who studied at the Liepāja Music College, moved to Riga approximately fifty years ago, where he further developed his artistic career.
His talent and dedication have enabled him to collaborate with notable bands such as ‘Līvi,’ ‘Suvenīrs,’ ‘Tip top,’ ‘Modo,’ ‘Opus,’ and ‘Remix.’ In addition to band performances, he has been involved with prestigious orchestras including the Latvian Television and Radio estrade orchestra, Gunārs Rozenbergs' big band, and the ‘Stabu ielas džezs’ orchestra, where he performed alongside celebrated artists like Raimonds Pauls and members of the National Symphony Orchestra and Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.
