Aivars Hermanis is an accomplished guitarist with over a thousand song recordings and performances to his credit. With more than 100 compositions as a writer, arranger, and producer, he also has experience as a concert organizer, educator, and leader in various organizations. Born in the coastal city of Liepāja, he completed his education at the Liepāja Music School before relocating to Rīga in 1976, where he expanded his musical impact significantly.

His talent and hard work allowed him to collaborate with various significant Latvian bands such as "Līvi," "Suvenīrs," "Tip Top," "Modo," and "Remix," as well as participate in orchestras and bands led by renowned figures such as Raimonds Pauls. Over the decades, he has also been involved with important institutions like the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra. His dedication has made him a prominent figure in the Latvian music scene, illustrating the rich tapestry of collaboration and artistic expression that characterizes his career.
