Yle opened its own store - This is how much the products cost
Yle has launched its own merchandise store in honor of its anniversary, offering a variety of products from its popular shows.
Yle, Finland's national public broadcasting company, announced the opening of its own store, named Yle-kauppa, in celebration of its anniversary. The first products went on sale on February 20, featuring merchandise related to beloved programs such as Merisää, Kansanradio, Pentulive, and Strömsö. Merchandise options include a range of items from practical clothing to promotional accessories for both adults and children. This initiative comes in response to frequent inquiries from fans about where they can purchase official Yle merchandise.
The product lineup includes adult t-shirts priced at €24.95, hoodies at €59.95, tote bags at €14.95, and caps and waist bags at €19.95. For children, hoodies are offered at €49.95 and t-shirts at €19.95. Additionally, a Pikku Kakkonen reflector is available for just €4.95. Yle's decision to establish this store reflects its commitment to engaging with its audience and meeting their desires for branded products.
The launch of Yle-kauppa not only allows fans to showcase their appreciation for Yle’s programming but also serves as a potential revenue stream for the broadcaster. The merchandise offers a way for loyal viewers to connect more intimately with the content they love, while also promoting Yle’s brand presence in the Finnish market.
