On Monday, the Democratic Union 'For Lithuania' will hold a scheduled board meeting to confirm the agenda for the upcoming municipal council elections. During the meeting, as stated by V. Sinkevičius, discussions will also focus on the situation surrounding S. Skvernelis, which, according to him, has not changed since the Democrats expressed their support for their leader. It appears that no formal charges have been brought against Skvernelis at this time.

V. Sinkevičius emphasized that S. Skvernelis has made it clear that he is ready to respond to questions from both journalists and law enforcement. Skvernelis has already participated in a questioning session and answered inquiries from investigative authorities. However, the future course of events remains uncertain. Notably, the prosecutor mentioned at a press conference that the raids were conducted to clarify circumstances in the ongoing investigation and were not specifically linked to the actions of the politicians involved.

Čepas, who remarked that the concept of shame seems to be a forgotten value among politicians.
